Cattle Breeding

King Island Aggregation (Tasmania)

The King Island Operation is operated as an Angus cattle breeding and finishing enterprise, with 25,000 head and over 9,000 Angus breeders, as well as progeny and bulls.

The operation is located in one of Australia’s most productive cattle breeding regions, benefited by a combination of highly reliable rainfall, excellent soil types and infrastructure supporting the industry.

Howquadale Station (North-East Victoria Aggregation)

An elite Angus  herd of 1,400 breeders (European accredited) plus followers infused with quality sires each year produces weaners for our own internal backgrounding operations. These weaners can be used at our other properties or can be marketed to other EU backgrounders.

Woolnorth Tasmania Aggregation

With the Woolnorth Aggregation, TRT Pastoral operations span approximately 43,000 acres of some of the most productive grazing land in the world.

Our plan is to progressively stock Woolnorth with a 7000-strong Angus breeding herd.
